I am in Texas City/Galveston, TX for Halloween weekend with the Hubs. I wanted to originally surprise him and drive down, but I'm pretty sure I would've ended up in Mexico or worse without his help. So I just told him :)
We are going to do beachy things today, and probably going out for a nice dinner somewhere tonight. Then tomorrow, after they play their church service, we're going to go to the Outlets at San Marcos (BETSEY JOHNSON OUTLET??? MEHBEHHHH???) and possibly the Galleria in Houston. We'll see. That is a lot of driving and I'm hoping to get lots of Christmas presents at the Outlets.
So far the trip hasn't been tons of fun, I got a ticket from one of Texas City's Finest for being LOST, and Texas City smells like a foot. So someone at the Texas City Municipal Court is going to get an earful bright and early Monday morning, and I'm going to wear extra perfume.
Anyways. I'm going to eat breakfast and get ready so we can get started on salvaging the rest of our trip.

ReplyDeleteI'm super jealous that you get to go to SanMarcos outlets! Aren't they like, 4 hours drive out of the way from the way home though? I wanted to take Chris to San Antonio on the way home from Galveston but thought it was way out of the way so we didn't have time. :( Maybe you are just more ambitious/patient with driving. lol
I really love the BCBG outlet there! Buuut you might already know that. I wish I could fit in the Betsey Johnson dresses! I hope you find something super cute.

I just realized you commented on this! Yeah, the outlets are like, WAY out of the way, but we figured since we were down here and we don't EVER have a weekend to just play around, we might as well :) I ended up getting a new coat because I need one that isn't a trench, and a holiday dress from Betsey Johnson, I will post about that this afternoon when I get back from work, I know you'll want to see pictures :)
